September next; but he directs me to point out that, as the Post Office of Hong Kong is not a party to the Parcel Post Convention of the Postal Union, the adhesion of China to that Convention does not necessarily involve the determination of the existing Parcel Post Agreement between your Administration and the Post Office of Hong Kong. In these circumstances you will perhaps consider it unnecessary to disturb the present arrangements in this connexion.
